Situated along the eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea, Lebanon benefits from its strategic position in this Land of the Levant.

Being the crossroad of 3 continents (Europe, Africa, Asia), this ancient terrain that goes back to the tertiary age was the witness of the work of the time and people.

Firstly called LebNen; meaning white and fertile, it preserved its name after 5000 long crucial years of struggle; when some of the most important civilizations of the world suh as the Egyptians, Assiyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greek and Romans etc. all wanted to control this small Jewel.

This gives you an idea of the historical richness of the country, which is also reflected in its people. Already the Canaanites- the autochthons of the land - arrived to become the providers of merchandise to many neighboring nations, and they were known later on by the Greeks as Phoenicians and their descendants the actual Lebanese are still carrying on the same track to be known as the best traders of the world establishing the link between the East and the West.

An independent country since the 22nd of Nov. 1943, a successful business center in the 60's and 70's, this "Switzerland of the East" was unfortunately the scene of a very dark and useless war that left deep scars on the imageof this wonderful place but with great determination and since 1990 when the war finished, just like this legendary phoenix bird that rises back from its ashes, the Lebanese as only proving that they are trustworthly of their long heritage and their past.
